
Espom Personal Trainer shares some not so secret secrets to success….
1) Have a specific and definite purpose. A goal. Remember that goal as often as possible, write it down, read it out loud – make is part of your being.
2) Ambition. You have to want to excel. More than anything, you have to have the desire to better yourself.
3) Self discipline. Once you can manage your emotions you can achieve much. Don’t let doubt or fear creep in. Use your love for your goal rule.
4) Good health through exercise, diet and mental calm. You simply cannot enjoy the realisation of your goals unless you are physically and mentally capable.
5) Self confidence. Believe you can do what you chose to. Accept nothing less than the best from yourself.
6) Resilience. Keep on keeping on. As Winston Churchill said.. when you are in hell, keep on going.
7) Make a decision and go for it. Don’t delay. Procrastination buries too many great ventures.
8) Enthusiasm. Love what you do and others will listen. It’s infectious, spread your goal and infect as many as you can!
9) Have a good team that you respect and trust to support you. A person alone can achieve little, a team allows loads to be spread and ideas to flourish.
10) Keep a check on your progress. It helps to make sure you are on target and moving in a productive direction.
This list is not specific to exercise but can readily be applied to help you achieve your fat loss/ muscle building / health related goals.
