Perhaps I took the wrong approach

It would seem that I have done wrong by you all.

I take the softly, softly route to body transformation and exercise, I try not to scare people away as exercise can have a profound effect on our lives, the benefits are tremendous.

However, most people do not come to me for simple health reasons. It’s usually about how we look, how others see us and how we feel about how we look. There is nothing wrong with the seemingly superficial endeavour of looking like a demi god.

I see lots of insults thrown at people who train to look good. Shame on those that do so. The way we look is one of the most influential factors of our daily lives. People are instantly judged on how they look, how strong, agile, bendie, graceful or beautiful they look. Our acute lives are ruled by our looks.

Bosses, clients, aggressors and mates are all initially drawn or repelled by how we look. Now you can’t please all the people all the time, but you can damn sure try to be as alluring and confident as can be.

Be wary of the person who doesn’t care how they look.

Vanity, to a point, has served our species and numerous others well. Embrace it and then master it.

Now to my point:

Years go by and people let fat slowly accumulate to a point they likely don’t see that they are 1,2 or even 3 stone overweight.

That kind of weight takes a dedicated effort to shift. It’s not easy, it’s not quick and it damn sure wont happen whilst you continue to eat and drink like shit and train with the intensity of a stoned sloth.

Exercise must be an aggressive endeavour to draw out the primal body that lies beneath the surface. Attack the workout with a mental vigour that you pull from your pit. Going easy will not cut. Focus. Unleash.

Great physiques are ALWAYS backed by a smart diet and an almost scary level of effort put into exercise.

Take away message:

Eat clean. Train like a mad man until you have had enough, and then push a little more. Softly, softly will not transform.
