Some of you will remember my weight loss demonstration I put myself through last year and the target I set myself in the opposite direction: I want to see how long and hard it was to gain 3 stone.
Last year I went from 95kg down to 85kg in about 8 weeks. Easy. I said at the end I would see how hard it was to fatten myself up to 16 stone/102kg.
Nearly 10 months later and copious amounts of uncomfortable eating and I have just managed to scrape over 97kg on the scale.
I have found this very hard and very costly. Over eating and getting fat is a long and slow process. An abuse of food consumption in a scale that is quite literally, scary. I have a way to go and will make 102kg at which point I’ll return to my comfortable eating habits and smart food choices.
My point here is that for everyone that is fat, it is never too late to get right with your body BUT it will tale you a proportionate length of time to lose it if you have had it for years.
I don’t have a higher metabolism than any of you, metabolism malfunctions in any direction are few and far between. You don’t have one. If you did, you’d know about it and be being treated for it by a professional. Again, you don’t.
Weight loss is a function of consistency and control. Weight gain is the result of consistently eating too much, too often for too long. Stop. The fat will fall off.
