Richard Ham Williams

In 1995 I was diagnosed with a malignant bone tumour in my left leg, which meant undergoing a gruelling course of Chemotherapy, followed by surgery to remove the tumour and rebuild my leg. Efficient exercise and a well planned diet helped me recover my health and strength. I learned the hard way just how important our health is to us and what can be achieved through exercise, determination and diet.

Along the way I have undergone many more operations and with each post operative recovery I have learned, practised and applied new and better techniques to achieve strength and fitness.

The Teenage Cancer Trust supported me throughout this period of my life and is Hams Fitness’ preferred Charity (www.TeenageCancerTrust.org) for whom I undertook a Charity Truckpull to raise funds for (pictured below).

A long time has passed since I survived cancer and I know the true value of staying strong and being physically prepared and how to achieve that. I am always learning new things as each person I help has their own unique needs and requirements which serve to keep me on my toes!

My goal is to share with you the strength, empowerment and freedom of health and fitness.

Exercise is part of my life, make it part of yours.
